Korean pop group BTS went on hiatus in 2022 to complete their military service and are due to return this year.

While the members were completing their individual duty according to their respective time, the members not on duty released solo music that gained them individual recognition.

In the most recently released solo music, BTS’ oldest member Jin released his second solo EP, Echo, that has made its mark on charts.

The album’s single Don’t Say You Love Me has topped Global Spotify Charts with an impressive 5.6m streams already.

The new song surpassed Alex Warren’s Ordinary and even the 2024 hit Die With a Smile by Lady Gaga featuring Bruno Mars.

Jin’s song explores themes of love and heartbreak with its emotional lyrics. The music video of the song has garnered 13m views on Youtube in the first 11 days of its release.

This is Jin’s second EP, after the success of his first EP, Happy, that was released in 2024.
