Iconic rapper Kendrick Lamar is facing off against artists such as Post Malone, Taylor Swift and Beyonce on Monday at the 2025 American Music Awards.
He is leading the charge with a whopping ten nominations, with the live show getting broadcast on CBS. Jennifer Lopez will be taking on the role of host, as well as giving a solo performance.
The AMAs winners are decided through fan votes, and Lamar is competing against Swift for the biggest win, Artist of the Year.
Notably, Swift has earned 40 AMAs wins, more than any artist in its history.
Other artists competing for artist of the year are Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Morgan Wallen, Billie Eilish, Zack Bryan and SZA.
The hit track Not Like Us from Lamar which is one installment in the line of songs made for his feud against Drake, is contending for Song of the Year.
Drake has gone on to sue Universal Music Group for the release of the song, alleging defamation.
The track has won five Grammys, and Lamar even performed it at his major Super Bowl Halftime Show.
