Gigi Hadid’s sister, Marielle Hadid, revealed that she was one of the people who helped lay the groundwork for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s relationship.
The 44-year-old noted that she was aware of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s crush on the 14-time Grammy winner, so she nudged the 35-year-old toward her current beau in a unique way.
During an episode of the Nice Girl’s Don’t Win podcast, Marielle dished all that went on between her and the Mastermind singer before one of her Eras Tour shows in Santa Clarita, California.
She recalled how “once upon a time the planets and the fates and all the stars aligned” in a tarot card reading she did for Taylor.
“I did pull a card for her because I had seen something where [Travis Kelce] had said that he wanted to date her,” Marielle told, before adding, “I pulled this card for her, and I don’t exactly remember which deck it was, but I remember that it was in regards to this and the word ‘swiftly’ was in the reading.”
The elder sister of Bella Hadid also quipped, “So I take all responsibility for [the relationship]!” to hosts Amy Bean and Parvati Shallow.
Travis Kelce had made a friendship bracelet with his number on it to give to Taylor Swift at her performance in the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City in July of 2023.
The National Football League player then said in an episode of the New Heights podcast, "I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so, I was a little butt-hurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."
