The woman behind Harry: The Lost Prince is back with another royal deep-dive, and this time, it’s bound to stir up fresh intrigue within royal circles.
Ulrike Grunewald, the German journalist who made waves with her controversial documentary on Prince Harry, is releasing a brand new royal biography later this year, and it's already raising eyebrows.
Her new book, A Royal Outcast, hits shelves on November 6 and promises to be the first comprehensive biography of Princess Louise, a scandal-shrouded royal who died in 1831 and later became Queen Victoria’s mother-in-law.
Grunewald teased the project on Instagram, calling it the result of more than a decade of research.
The foreword will be penned by Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, who reportedly shares a fascination with Princess Louise’s tumultuous life.
The book is expected to delve into Louise’s dramatic scandals, her estranged life from the royal court, and her connection to Queen Victoria through her son, Prince Albert.
Ulrike made headlines in December 2024 for her documentary Harry: The Lost Prince, which charted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal exit, and their search for a “meaningful role” post-Megxit.
