Benson Boone was not impressed by the Coachella crowd
American singer Benson Boone took the Coachella stage by storm, where he also announced the release of his sophomore album American Heart, to be released in June 2025.
The singer was joined by Queen legend Brian May in a surprise appearance on stage as the two performed the iconic song Bohemian Rhapsody.
However, the crowd’s lackluster response made Benson call them out for their lack of appreciation for a legend.
The Beautiful Things singer took to TikTok as he posted a video of himself singing the record-breaking song into a banana and throwing his hands in air trying to encourage the “pretend-crowd” to make a roar to celebrate the rock legend.
The video was posted with the caption “Me trying to get the crowd at Coachella to understand what an absolute legend Brian May is and the cultural impact he has on music and THE WORLD.”
Fans were quick to react to the video agreeing with the singer calling out the crowd.
"They're not worthy of Brian May", a fan commented on the post.
