Spice Girls reuniting for 30th anniversary?

British girl group Spice Girls, which is considered the most successful all-female music band in the history of pop music, celebrated their 30th anniversary in March 2024.

In 1994, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwal, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton, entered into rounds of auditions that led them to being grouped together as the Spice Girls.

Melanie Brown, also known as Mel B or Scary Spice, has dropped hints that the group might be reuniting to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their first hit single Wannabe.

Scary Spice posted a video on Instagram while scrolling on her phone with the caption, “Organising my pics and it’s all spice girls maybe it’s time to do it all over again?”

In a recent interview with Australian radio, Melanie Chisholm also known as Mel C said “It’s 30 years next year since the release of Wannabe. We have to do something special”.

The last time all five members of the band performed together was at the 2012 London Olympics Games closing ceremony.
