Coachella crowd faced chaos after getting trapped in 12-hour-traffic as thousands line up to enter the fairgrounds, struggling with record high temperatures.
The worsening situation of the musical festival has been regarded as the worst since its beginning in 1999, where some visitors have also demanded a refund before the beginning of the first sets.
The prices of food at the place have also spiked as one X user complained about an “$18” burrito: “ABSOLUTELY NOT. If something that basic is more expensive than Disneyland, I ain’t f**king with it.”
Another user explained about the conditions at the event, calling it a “nightmare” with temperature “101” degree and people camping in “tents without running water.”
The two-weekend programme is being held at Empire Polo Club of Indio, California. The shows will feature known figures including Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Travis Scott and Meghan Thee Stallion and many more.
An attendee gushed about the visit: “It was truly the worst experience ever and also super disappointing because of how much money we spent.”
According to LA Times, the forecast recorded about 102 degrees which is only few degrees short of the city’s record set in 1904.
A TikTok creator spoke up against the mismanagement at the 2025 gala: “We had no one directing us once we got close to the campgrounds.”
