Nicolas Cage, an American actor and film producer, remembers Val Kilmer.
On Tuesday April 1, the film star departed due to pneumonia in Los Angeles.
Nicolas Cage reacted to the death of Val Kilmer as per Deadline, "I always liked Val and am sad to hear of his passing."
"I thought he was a genius actor. I enjoyed working with him on Bad Lieutenant, and I admired his commitment and sense of humor," the Ghost Rider star said.
The Academy Award winner mentioned that Kilmer should have won Oscars for his work in The Doors movie in his lifetime.
Kilmer’s iconic performance in Top Gun helped him achieve stardom. Following the movie, he got consecutive leading roles as in The Fantasy Film Willow and in The Biopic The Doors.
The leading role Kilmer starred in the biopic The Doors is included in the list of his legendary performances.
