Glen Powell finally talks Sydney Sweeney romance

Glen Powell finally broke the silence on his paring with Sydney Sweeney that has been taking the internet by storm. 

The Hit Man actor confirmed that Sydney, 27, attended his sister Leslie's wedding, causing fans to be delighted.

The fans, who had already been captivated by the pair's on-screen chemistry in their 2023 film Anyone But You, noticed that Sydney and Glen's fated meeting created an uncanny parallel to their characters from the film.

When asked about the Euphoria actress’s presence at the event after she reportedly called it quits with long-time fiancée Jonathan Davino, the 36-year-old stated, “You know, timing is everything in this world.”

“[Leslie] and Syd are obviously great friends and it was a hell of a wedding,” he continued, answering host Jenna Bush Hager on an episode of Today with Jenna & Friends on April 2.

Although Glen didn’t directly address the rumours, his mother Cyndy certainly did a day prior, telling Daily Mail, "they're definitely not together."

She went on to say that Sydney was a close friend of the family’s and that they enjoyed her company, shutting down the gossip once and for all.

It is important to note that Leslie Powell had invited the Madame Web actress to her wedding months prior to the news of her engagement break-off and had also written the music for Anyone But You trailer.
