BTS star Kim Taehyung, who’s known by his stage name V, left fans shocked after going through major transformation.
The pop sensation disclosed on WeVerse that he dropped 10kgs more after shedding weight and toning body following his military recruitment in 2023.
Taehyung debuted the new look for his followers on the platform, where the singer can be seen flexing his pumped muscular arms and doing intense fitness routine.
BTS admirers went wild after seeing their idol in a good shape as one gushed that he is “doing his military service very well, his body is very good, getting bigger. I think he’s exercising well!”
On the other hand, the update from the 29-year-old fuelled speculation that all the hard work for the change is meant for his casting in the upcoming instalment of Squid Game.
This came after the second season featured several notable figures from the Korean media, such as singer Jo Yu-ri and rapper T.O.P.
The rumours began making rounds after the Dynamite hitmaker dressed in a costume similar to that worn by the guards of the web-series for the BTS’ Permission to Dance on Stage concerts.
Despite getting several questions about the singer’s roles, the cast of the thriller series has remained tight lipped about the rumours.
Although the story of the show is fiction, it is reportedly backed by true events that have influenced certain parts of the plot, such as the story of the locals held as hostages in bunkers of South Korea in 1986.
