Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez take a relaxed approach to wedding planning
Benny Blanco made delightful comments about his working experience with fiancée Selena Gomez ahead of the release of their upcoming album, I Said I Love You First.
In the teaser clip, released by Spotify, the actor, 32, revealed that she and the singer, 37, would start their mornings with casual conversations, yet surprisingly, they never began a discussion with "what's the plan for the album?"
"It was very, 'this is on my mind,' 'what is that,' 'how does that make you feel?' kind of thing," she explained.
The producer teased, "I felt like your personal journal," and Gomez laughed, "Well, you are!”.
“I was just, constantly writing whatever you said, wherever we were,” he continued.
Speaking to Rolling Stone, the couple, who got engaged in December 2024, shared that they've been more focused on releasing music than planning as of late.
He added "I think every day she’s planned a new wedding in her head,” Blanco told the publication. “We’re very much ‘take it one day at a time’-type of people. We’re still not over this moment. Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring."
They dropped three songs from I Said I Love You First: Scared of Loving You on February 13, then Call Me When You Break Up with Gracie Abrams on February 21, and Sunset Blvd. on March 14.
Moreover, the album I Said I Love You First is set to be released on March 21 and has sparked excitement among fans.
