A body language expert has analyzed footage from Trooping the Colour 2019, revealing an incredibly awkward moment where Prince Harry appeared to scold Meghan Markle like a misbehaving child.

According to Judi James, a specialist in body language, Meghan seemed uneasy during the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance, turning away as the royals engaged in conversation.

In an attempt to find a friendly face, she turned toward Harry, but instead of offering reassurance, he appeared to snap at her.

Rather than greeting her with a warm smile, Harry reportedly issued a sharp command, making the moment visibly uncomfortable for Meghan.

Footage from the event shows Meghan trying to engage with her husband, prompting an initial terse response. A lip reader for MailOnline claimed Harry first responded with, “Yes, that's right.”

When Meghan turned back toward him a second time, Harry allegedly snapped: "Turn around."

As Meghan continued to glance his way, he added: “Look,” while nodding toward the front of the balcony. At that moment, the national anthem began playing, and Meghan turned back toward the crowd.

James believes the interaction showed a lack of support from Harry at a time when Meghan was still adjusting to royal life.

"He should have been the one royal responsible for hosting his wife in the UK and helping her navigate her way through royal protocol," James explained.

Instead, she noted that Harry remained impassive and enforced protocol with a stern eyebrow raise, making it a cold, authoritative gesture rather than a reassuring one.

James observed that Meghan looked visibly upset after the tense moment.

"The gesture from Harry seems to look more like the way you might urge a naughty kid," she noted.

"Her facial expression looks unhappy as she turns. She was clearly trying to get it right but might have preferred a kindly, loving smile rather than a warning raise of the eyebrows."
