Brad Pitt’s racing skills for F1 film applauded by Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton, a British race car driver, sat down for an interview with ESPN where he opened up about the upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt.

According to him, the Apple Original Films production has it all, "Brad Pitt, speed, thrills, an epic underdog story, drama, humour and a little bit of romance."

A trailer for the film, of approximately two minutes, is set to be released by Warner Bros on June 25, crediting Hamilton as the co-producer on the project.

"Watching Brad drive around at speeds over 180 miles an hour was really impressive to see because it's not something you can just learn overnight," he stated, with his own season being set to start in Australia this weekend.

"The dedication and the focus that Brad put into this process has been amazing to witness,” he added.

Directed by the mind behind Top Gun: Maverick, Joseph Kosinski, it also stars Javier Bardem as the owner of a team that is on the path to fail.

English actor, Damson Idris will take on the role of Joshua Pearce, meanwhile Pitt will be portraying the older, looking-to-be-redeemed racer, Sonny Hayes.
