Prince William and Kate Middleton are setting clear priorities when it comes to balancing royal duties and family life, ensuring their children have a grounded upbringing while preparing for their future roles.
According to a Daily Mail source, the Prince and Princess of Wales are determined to remain present as parents while carrying out their royal responsibilities alongside King Charles III.
Echoing this, royal correspondent Rebecca English emphasized their commitment to service while also prioritizing their roles as parents. “Both Their Royal Highnesses have a strong commitment to duty, service, and using their platform for good. But what they are working on is ways they can balance themselves as parents with being the Prince and Princess of Wales,” English said.
Their main goal is to ensure that Prince George—as well as Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—grow into well-adjusted adults, ready for their roles when the time comes.
This year is expected to bring significant changes for Prince George, who turns 12 and may soon transition to boarding school at 13—meaning he will no longer be at Lambrook School with his younger siblings.
While reports suggest he might follow in his father’s footsteps and attend Eton College, the Palace has yet to confirm the decision.
Royal expert Jennie Bond recently weighed in on George’s education, telling OK! Magazine: “[It’s] a big year for George. I imagine the decision about where he goes next has been pretty much sealed by now.”
Bond also suggested that Wellington College could be a suitable alternative, not just for George but for his siblings as well.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are proud parents to three children. The couple first met while studying at St. Andrews University in Scotland and later married in 2011. Their eldest child, Prince George, is 11 years old, followed by their daughter, Princess Charlotte, who is nine, and their youngest son, Prince Louis, who is six.
