Kim Kardashian opens up about 1st husband Damon Thomas

Kim Kardashian, an American media personality, opened up about her rarely discussed marriage and divorce from record producer, Damon Thomas.

On the March 6 episode of The Kardashians, she revealed that her sister Khloe had played a major part in helping her after the separation, "She got this piggy bank that was as tall as us, it was like a Coke bottle and we would put so much money in it. When I was getting my first divorce, I moved out and I had no money. I was 21, and she was like, 'Here, you can have my Coke bottle.'"

The now billionaire then stayed up the entire night to count out the money, and it ultimately amounted to around $6000.

"It was just enough for me to get the down payment on my apartment and pay my first and last month's rent,” she added.

The pair separated after four years of marriage in 2004, after which she married Kris Humphries for 72 days in 2011.

Her longest marriage was to rapper Kanye West, who she married in 2014 and shares kids North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5 with. They ended up separating in 2021 and their divorce was finalized the next year.
