Pete Davidson makes unexpected move to reconcile with SNL host Colin Jost
Money can buy everything. Pete Davidson seems to think so.
The former Saturday Night Live member reportedly extended an olive branch to Colin Jost, a year after the duo was speculated to be going through a rocky patch.
The 31-year-old, as reported by The Sun, purchased a $20,00 Cartier watch as a gift for the comedian who is married to Black Widow actress Scarlett Johansson.
"This gift was a positive gesture that Pete made to Colin just after he got out of rehab," the source claimed.
Notably, this is not the first time the SNL co-stars have been associated with expensive purchases.
Back in 2022, together they bought a Staten Island Ferry worth $280,000. The pair had planned to renovate the Ferry and turn it into a live entertainment space however, things did not work out as expected.
Deeming it as a bad decision, Pete told Entertainment Tonight, “Me and Colin were very stoned a year ago and bought a ferry. And we’re figuring it out.”
Whereas Colin, 42, disagreed with the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor.
“Is it worse that I was actually stone-cold sober when we bought the ferry?” he wrote in his June 2023 Instagram story in response to Page Six’s report.
