Multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos has put together a team of six women that will make history to become the first all-women crew to go to space.

The Amazon CEO’s space technology company Blue Origin will conduct this mission in spring 2025 with its tourism rocket, New Shepard. The program has launched 52 people into space previously.

The historic crew of 6 ladies includes popstar Katy Perry, American presenter Gayle King, Bezos’ fiancé Lauren Sanchez, bioastronautics research scientist Amanda Nguyen, former Nasa rocket scientist Aisha Bowe and film producer Kerianne Flynn.

Blue Origin announced that this will be the first all women flight since the Soviet Union’s Valentina Tereshkova's solo mission in 1963.

The experience comes with a price tag of $200,000 and will last for only 10 minutes. The vessel carries the passengers 100 kilometers above the earth’s surface.
