Tom Hanks angrily leaves 'SNL' 50th anniversary event

Tom Hanks, a veteran American actor, could be seen angrily storming away from the Saturday Night Live 50th anniversary event along with Rita Wilson.

The couple could be seen leaving their seats and making their way to the back of the auditorium after Jimmy Fallon said that they would not be giving any awards, “Apparently, there’s been some confusion. This is just a concert. We’re not giving out any awards tonight. So I just want to make sure that everyone knows that.”

Wilson jokingly wagged her finger at the camera, as Fallon called, “Tom? Rita? We lost Tom Hanks and Rita. Sorry. It wasn’t their fault.”

Hanks has come on SNL around ten times over the span of several years and has made many cameos on the show. This qualifies him to be a part of the Five-Timers Club which includes stars who have appeared on SNL five times or more.

Other members of the club include stars like Drew Barrymore, Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy and Dwayne Johnson.

The event featured many stars from the show’s past including Amy Poehler, Eddie Murphy, Molly Shannon, Kristen Wiig, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Maya Rudolph, Pete Davison and Tracy Morgan.
