Brian Austin Green on his feud with Machine Gun Kelly over Megan Fox

The tension between Brian Austin Green and Machine Gun Kelly has been ongoing ever since MGK began dating Megan Fox following her split from Green.

Now, the 90210 star is opening up about their latest social media spat, revealing why he chose to call out Kelly publicly.

Speaking to People at the Hollywood Virgin Los Angeles Magazine Book Launch Party on Wednesday, Green discussed the screenshot he posted of a message from Machine Gun Kelly.

The screenshot, shared via Instagram Stories, included MGK’s message: "Bro. Just be honest for once in your life. Stop caring so much about how you’re perceived that you will try and drag other people."

Green admitted that he hasn’t heard from Kelly since making the post, nor does he expect to.

"That's not something that I normally do, but at the time, it really got under my skin to read about his sort of take on it," Green told People. He added that while he felt the need to speak up, he now plans to stay out of the drama.

"I've since come to terms with the fact that I won't do that anymore. I'm going to shut up and just sit back."

Green was married to Megan Fox for 10 years, and they share three children: Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 10, and Journey River, eight. 

In 2020, Fox ended her marriage with Green and began dating Machine Gun Kelly, but their relationship also came to an end in November 2024—just weeks after they had announced they were expecting a baby together.
