Eric Stonestreet, best known for appearing in Modern Family, took to his social media to show his approval for Chappell Roan’s performance at the Grammy Awards.
The singer took to the stage to perform her hit song Pink Pony Club, and the actor took note of the background dancers’ clown-like appearance on Instagram.
Comparing them his alter ego in the show, the clown Fizbo, he wrote, "Lotta people asking. Yes, Fizbo WAS in @chappellroan’s Grammy performance of 'Pink Pony Club.’ I was in the way way way way back. Off the stage. At home. In my chair."
With a picture of the character, he added, "But the make up was most definitely on point and Fizbo approved! #Farmbo."
Roan gave a high energy performance of the song while attending the Grammys for the first time, complete with clown-like performers.
Fans of the singer also noticed one of the dancers from the Eras Tour, Kam Saunders, joining the ensemble.
"Yes.. that was me in Pink Pony Club. Took that makeup off IMMEDIATELY to save my skin,” he confirmed later on Instagram.
Giving an emotional speech on the stage after taking the win for Best New Artist, Roan stated, "I told myself, if I ever won a Grammy and I got to stand up here in front of the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels in the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would offer a livable wage and healthcare, especially to developing artists.”
"Because I got signed so young, I got signed as a minor, and when I got dropped, I had zero job experience under my belt and like most people, I had a difficult time finding a job in a pandemic and could not afford health insurance,” the Good Luck, Babe! singer continued.
"Labels, we got you, but do you got us?,” she boldly concluded.
