Taylor Swift’s beau Travis Kelce to debut as film producer

Taylor Swift’s athlete boyfriend, Travis Kelce, made a mark on and off the field.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is stepping into the filming realm as an executive producer in a movie, My Dead Friend Zoe, debuting at South By Southwest SXBSW in Austin, Texas on March 9.

The upcoming movie is led by the direction talent of Kyle Hausmann-Stokes and as confirmed by PEOPLE, it is financed through renewable energy taxes.

My Dead Friend Zoe, which was written by Stokes and AJ Bermudez, stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Natalie Morales, Ed Harris, Morgan Freeman, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Gloria Reuben.

However, the Blackspace hitmaker’s love interest is not new to the media spotlight as he has worked in show business before, having hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2023.

Moreover, shortly after the Super Bowl champion and the Cruel Summer chart-topper made their romance public they made a surprise appearance at the SNL.

A source tipped the outlet in January, "He’s really enjoyed hosting, and after he retires, he wants to lean into acting and hosting."

"He had a blast at SNL," the insider describes Kelce’s time at the NBC comedy sketch.

Furthermore, the NFL star told the reporters last month, "I’ve been fortunate to do a few things outside of the sports world that I’ve been doing, like getting on camera."

"The SNL stuff kind of opened up a new happiness and a new career path for me," the 34-year-old footballer added.

However, he went on to note, "But it’s funny for me to even say that at this point in my career because I think it’s so much further down the road than it is right now."
