Travis Kelce chooses Super Bowl over Grammys with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce won't attend the 2024 Grammy Awards with his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

During his interview with The Pat McAfee Show on Wednesday, the 34-year-old NFL player confirmed that he will not be in the audience to cheer for the Lover singer because he is preparing for Super Bowl LVIII.

“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but I think I got practice,” Travis said.

The Kansas City Chiefs' tight end mentioned that his Super Bowl preparations are preventing him from going to Los Angeles to attend the music ceremony.

“I know I got practice on Saturday, but Sunday is a travel day. Unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big old Super Bowl,” he explained.

Travis continued, “We're just two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it. It's nothing more than that.”

“I love it when Taylor comes to support me and enjoys the game with fam and friends. We enjoy every single bit of it, and it's been a wonderful year,” he added.

For those unversed, the upcoming Grammy Awards will be held on February 5, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and Taylor Swift is nominated in six categories at the ceremony.
