Robert Downey Jr. opens up about fear ahead of Oscars

Robert Downey Jr. recently made a striking revelation about his fear of flying.

It was made public that even Iron Man feared flying after the actor appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show and confessed it.

"I hate to admit it, but it’s just too weird a concept — hurdling through the air 500 mph," he explained after disclosing that he still gets jitters on flights.

His remarks comes after he kicked off the awards season with a Golden Globe win for Oppenheimer.

Though flying in the air bugged the actor, nevertheless, he soared to great heights in his professional achievements and is gearing up for the Oscars following his outstanding performance in Oppenheimer.

Under the YouTube clip, his fans flocked to support the actor and hyped him for the Oscars.

A fan raved over his performance in the thriller historical drama, "He deserves the Oscar more than anyone else! That character was so important in Oppenheimer, shaped the entire movie differently and he was absolutely phenomenal in portraying all kinds of emotions."

Another fan gushed over his down-to-earth attitude, "I love how he gives so much respect to actors like Cillian Murphy and Paul McCartney despite being as big of a star as them. Great to see how he can identify and acknowledge greatness."
