Caitlyn Jenner has revealed something interesting about Kim Kardashian’s passion for fame.
In an upcoming documentary on the Kardashian family, Caitlyn Jenner says that her former stepdaughter Kim Kardashian "calculated" fame from a young age.
In a trailer for Sky's House of Kardashian that debuted on Thursday, the Olympian, 73, says, "Kimberly calculated from the beginning, 'How do I become famous?'"
Joe Francis, the creator of Girls Gone Wild and a close member of the Kardashian family, then says that the Skims founder's 2000s inappropriate film with her ex Ray J was "a means to an end."
“It was to create a controversy,” the 50-year-old adds.
In the three-part series' trailer, a voiceover describes Kris Jenner, the family's matriarch, as wanting "to be more than just a housewife," and another voiceover concludes, "They ruined the world!"
The Kardashian-Jenners do not have any editorial control over House of Kardashian, which is expected to be explosive, in contrast to E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Hulu's The Kardashians.
Caitlyn, who was married to Kris for 23 years, said that she was “happy to participate in the interview process” and to share her side, “which points to the strength, influence and prowess my family has in captivating the world’s attention and keeping it over the years,” in a statement.
“I am incredibly proud of all my children and stepchildren,” she added.
