Zachery Ty Bryan has been released from jail on Thursday, nearly a week after he was booked on two felony charges.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Home Improvement alum was facing charges of fourth-degree assault and third-degree robbery charges along with a misdemeanour claim of harassment.

Speaking to the outlet, defence attorney John Kolego of Eugene law firm Kolego & Kraushaar stressed the actor’s innocence, adding: "Presumption of innocence is extremely important and people should withhold judgment until they see what the actual facts are."

Bryan is set to appear in court on Sept. 5.

Last week, Eugene police officers responded to a distress call from a woman, who alleged domestic violence in Oregon.

Bryan had run away before the law enforcement authorities arrived at the location. However, he was contacted and brought into Lane County Jail on one charge of assault in the fourth degree under the Abuse Prevention Act.

The identity of the victim is unknown.

The former child star’s latest act of subversion isn’t unprecedented; Bryan has previously been arrested for assaulting the mother of his three children Johnnie Faye Cartwright, DUI, and breaching of a $60,000 contract.

In an interview with the outlet in June, the actor expressed unsettling indifference toward his slew of arrests, saying, "At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something. I could’ve fought it…but that’s more stress and drama. I got two misdemeanors and called it a day."
