BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, actor Ahn Bo Hyun confirm dating rumours

Jisoo, the lead vocalist of the well-known Korean girl group BLACKPINK, has reportedly been seeing actor Ahn Bo Hyun. Dispatch initially reported the relationship.

On Thursday, August 3, 2023, the news was confirmed by their respective agencies.

The 28-year-old singer, whose real name is Kim Jisoo, is represented by YG Entertainment, which provided the following statement to a Korean media outlet.

"[Jisoo and Ahn] are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings. We would appreciate if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze," the agency said in the statement.

Ahn Bo Hyun’s agency FN Entertainment likewise said, "They are getting to know each other."

Hyun was recently seen entering and exiting the singer's Yongsan apartment. Jisoo rarely travels to Korea because of business commitments; therefore the rumor gained traction via Koreaboo.

This is the first time the agency has officially confirmed a relationship rumor regarding a member of the group, claims Korea JoongAng Daily.

The report added that Jisoo and the actor are seven years apart in age. He entered the business in 2007 as a model and has since pursued an acting career. Descendants of the Sun (2016), Itaewon Class (2020), Yumi's Cells (2021, 2022), and Military Prosecutor Doberman (2022) are a few of his prominent roles.

Jisoo, the group's senior member, joined BLACKPINK as the third member. She sings lead and is known to be a master at harmonizing.
