Post Malone buys One Ring card from Lord of the Rings MTG collection

Post Malone has reportedly bought a rare collectible from the Lord of the Rings franchise.

As per reports, the rapper is now the owner of Magic's Lord of the Rings card, The One Ring, who bought it for at least $2 million.

In a TikTok video posted by former One Ring owner Brook Trafton, Malone is seen accepting the collectible.

"When I found the One Ring, the first person who came to mind was Post Malone," Trafton wrote on his Tiktok caption.

"I have played MTG since I was a kid and obviously, it would be amazing to keep this card. But for a guy like me, being able to sell it is life-changing,” he continued. “I just really hoped it would go to someone who would appreciate it as much as I do. This is my dream come true, meeting Post Malone and him buying the One Ring card from me is literally a moment straight out of a fairytale."

The Lord of the Rings recently collaborated with Magic: The Gathering cards company, with a little game of its own.

During the announcement, it was revealed that the company created a special version of “The One Ring” card that was serialized as one of one, hidden throughout all the customized cards released.

It is noted that the Rockstar rapper has been a significant member of the Magic: The Gathering community, frequently appearing at community events as well as being the proud holder of an $800,000 signed artist print Black Lotus.
