Sandra Bullock and Bryan Randall have been living separately for some time during a tough phase in their relationship.
According to Us Weekly, the Bird Box star is determined to work their issues out, however, things don’t look as good from an objective eye.
“The feeling is Sandra might be hoping for some type of miracle — that they’ll work things out after this long cooling-off period,” an insider told the outlet, adding that the longtime couple is looking at a “long shot” in their hopes to reconcile.
They explained that their relationship hit a bump in the fall of 2022.
Bullock first met Randall in August 2015, after she hired him to photograph her adoptive son Louis' birthday earlier that year.
As per insiders, the couple had been getting along fine until recently.
During an appearance on Red Table Talk in 2021, the actress gushed about finding love in Randall. “I am someone who went through the divorce process. I found the love of my life. We share two beautiful children — three children, [including] his older daughter [Skylar]. It’s the best thing ever.”
Being proud of her vocal stance against marriage, The Proposal actress shared, “I don’t wanna say do it like I do it, but I don’t need a paper to be a devoted partner and devoted mother.”
Meanwhile, Randall had been itching to make things official with the Oscar winner, who didn’t waiver from her dislike for it.
“It’s widely known Bryan wanted to make things official with Sandra, but she didn’t see a need to go down that path. It became quite an issue as time went on,” an insider told the outlet in October 2022.
