Are Jennifer Hudson and Common dating?

Jennifer Hudson has offered insight into her rumoured romance with Common.

The 41-year-old singer sparked romance rumours with the rapper, 54, back in September after the duo was spotted at a dinner in Philadelphia.

At the time, the Dreamgirls actress refuted such rumours, directing attention to their upcoming film Breathe.

"People create their narratives of it and it’s like, OK, you know, how you feel," she told ET. "We shot a film together and he played my husband. We gotta eat in between those moments."

In a brief interaction with TMZ on Tuesday, Hudson brushed off validating the rumours, but not before offering Common a sweet compliment. "Rumors say a lot of things, but he’s a beautiful man," she said. "I will give you that."

The multi-hyphenate star also reflected on the suggestion of potentially working on a song together, saying, "It’d be dope to see two Chicagoans together, but I don’t know about that."

According to the outlet, sources close to the pair confirmed their romance, alleging, "They have been together for months."

Hudson and Common also reportedly enjoyed an intimate getaway to Nobu in Malibu in February.

In May, the twosome was caught by paparazzi on a loved-up stroll down the streets of Chicago, adding fuel to the rumours.

Before Hudson, the John Wick actor was in a relationship with Tiffany Haddish, but the duo split in 2021.

Meanwhile, the Jennifer Hudson Show star was last linked to ex-fiancé David Otunga before calling it quits in 2017.
