Ariana Grande, Emma Watson share Shoe fashion at Wimbledon

Ariana Grande and Emma Watson are inspired by each other.

Over the weekend, Wimbledon came to an end, drawing a star-studded crowd that included the Princess of Wales, Stormzy, Lily James, and Idris Elba. To watch Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz compete in the men's final, they all showed up dressed to impress.

Notable attendees on Sunday included Ariana Grande and Emma Watson. Despite having quite different fashion senses, Grande and Watson both decided to wear the same eccentric pair of heels to round off their distinct outfits in an unexpected fashion twist.

Grande chose a ladylike outfit for the event, pairing a pleated maxi skirt from the Ralph Lauren line with a grey cashmere short-sleeve turtleneck top.

She accessorised with a little black leather tote bag from The Row, gold hoop earrings from Mejuri, and a white Wimbledon logo cap. The pop star finished off her ensemble with a pair of eye-catching black leather Loewe Toy pumps that had a lacquered heel and a petal-shaped toe.

Watson chose a more relaxed-chic interpretation of classic Wimbledon attire for the same occasion. She wore a peach high-waisted pleated pair of slacks, a white sleeveless button-up shirt with an enormous retro-inspired collar, a beige fedora hat with a black grosgrain ribbon accent and a khaki shoulder bag. The star completed her look with the same eccentric pair of white Loewe Toy pumps as Grande.

The Toy pumps made their runway premiere at the Loewe Spring 2023 presentation in Paris, which included a collection that emphasised making real objects appear unreal and vice versa. (Other amusing Loewe shoe moments include heels that mimic soap bars, lipsticks, and lifelike roses.) 

By styling them with a traditional silhouette, Ariana showed off their versatility and gave them a more elegant appearance. Emma, on the other hand, chose a more relaxed look, teaming them with a loose top and pleated trousers.
