Shakira 'flattered' but 'not interested' in Tom Cruise's 'giddy' advances

Shakira is standing her ground when it comes to rejecting Tom Cruise’s advances.

Since meeting the Columbian singer at the F1 game in Miami earlier this month, it’d be safe to say that the Mission Impossible star has been “absolutely mesmerized” by her, and even allegedly sent her flowers following their meeting.

However, a Spanish newspaper, Marca, affirmed that Shakira is “focused on her family” and has no time to date following her publicized breakup with beau Gerard Pique last year.

A source told Heat Magazine that the Waka Waka singer has been "begging him [Tom] to stop flirting with her," and asked him to leave her alone.

However, a source claimed that the Hollywood Hunk was “giddy” after speaking to Shakira, a feeling reminiscent of “how he acted” during his relationship with ex-wife Katie Holmes.

However, they corroborated that “[Shakira] doesn't want to embarrass or upset him, but there's no attraction or romance on her part - she was just being friendly. She's flattered but not interested.”

The singer has also “politely” delivered the message to the Top Gun: Maverick star who’s keen on finding love after a string of heartbreaks.

As for Shakira, the singer is still reeling from fresh heartbreak in Miami, miles away from her boyfriend of 11 years with their two kids.
