Tom Cruise and Shakira might be the latest power couple in town

Another power couple in the making?

According to reports, Tom Cruise is “extremely interested” in pursuing Shakira following the latter’s tumultuous split with boyfriend of 11 years Gerard Pique last June.

The Top Gun star was spotted hanging out with the Columbian singer at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami, where Shakira moved with her two kids in April.

“Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom,” a source spilled to Page Six, before noting that the Hollywood Hunk has the benefit of being, “a nice-looking guy, and he is talented.”

“There is chemistry,” they assured. “And she isn’t taller than him.”

Following their public appearance at the race game, Cruise and Shakira reportedly also spent some time chatting in a private hospitality suite.

The insider revealed that the actor also sent her flowers following their meet-up.

Shakira previously opened up about the toll her very public breakup with the athlete took, saying: “It’s been tough not only for me but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult.

“I can only say that I put everything I had into this relationship and my family,” she told Elle in September.

Meanwhile, Cruise was last linked to his Mission: Impossible 7 co-star Hayley Atwell.

They called it quits in June 2022.
