Adele sets Gordon Ramsay's pulse racing when she walks toward him with mic

Gordon Ramsay has dived with sharks and leapt out of helicopters. But when Adele approached him carrying a microphone, the Michelin-starred chef was more terrified than ever.

Ramsay acknowledged he was afraid when Adele recognised him in the audience at her Las Vegas concert in February in an interview with British GQ that was published on Wednesday.

"I'll jump out of a helicopter in Guyana. Have sharks the size of Range Rovers over my head in Tasmania. These are the bootcamps I put myself in. And the good thing about shitting yourself in a wetsuit? Nothing comes out," he said.

"Still, I'm not sure it's as scary as watching Adele in Vegas and thinking she's walking over to hand me the mic. Luckily, she just gave me a kiss instead. Thank fuck!"

Ramsay posted a cute Instagram video of him with Adele during the singer's residency at Caesars Palace.

Adele can be seen grinning in the video when she notices Ramsay among the crowd. She comes over to say hi and grabs his hand as they sing When We Were Young    without missing a beat. Before she leaves to complete the performance, Ramsay gives her a short kiss on the cheek.

In the caption, Ramsay wrote, "Stunning performance."

Ramsay visited Las Vegas to mark the fifth anniversary of his restaurant Hell's Kitchen.

Ramsay stated he can never escape the legend surrounding his famous beef Wellington no matter where he is in the world when questioned about his legacy in the British GQ interview.

"Whether I'm in a tapas bar on the backstreets of Barcelona or the arse-end of the jungle, someone wants to talk to me about my fucking beef Wellington," he said.
