Kyedae Shymko gets real about her cancer diagnosis and treatments

Valorant star Kyedae Shymko just revealed she got diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and will be starting treatment soon. 

To note, this form of cancer occurs in the blood and bone marrow and is rare in those under the age of 45. 

According to the National Cancer institution 60 to 70 % of adults with AML are expected to attain the complete remission status after appropriate induction therapy. Unfortunately, the cancer is lethal and can be widely viewed as the most fatal type. The main method would include chemotherapy and targeted therapy drugs. 

She is considered as one of the most notable personalities in the space and partner to E-sports star Tyson and little could anyone believe that despite her flourishing work life Kyedae could be facing a major health scare. 

But it seems nothing can stop Kyedae from working as she wishes to continue streaming throughout her treatment. 

Kyedae Receives An Outpour of Support In Wake of Her Cancer Diagnosis 

Valorant pro players, orgs and fans alike all came forward to shower their blessings on her post cancer reveal. 

LOUD’s Saadhaak, who just came off a win against DRX tweeted, "Wish you the best, god will help you!" 

FaZe clan too sent good wishes their way claiming, ''Sending love to you and your family, and wishing for the speediest of recoveries." 

And Minecraft superstar Sapnap also wrote, "Sending love and support, you got this." 

With all the love and power she is getting Kyedae will surely recover and her fans now are deeply concerned and are waiting for daily heath updates from her.
