Chloe Cherry is unveiling the secrets of the porn industry.

Chloe Cherry, the star of Euphoria, has spoken out about her past job in porn and acknowledged that it wasn't as glamorous as she had imagined.

Chloe plays the drug addict Faye in the second season of the HBO series Euphoria, which follows college students as they attend drunken parties and come to terms with their sexuality.

Chloe revealed on the Going Mental podcast that her hopes for working in the porn industry were not met by reality and that she had developed body dysmorphia as a result of the pressure to conform to industry norms.

“The porn industry is so much more toxic when it comes to body image than the fashion industry,” she revealed.

Adding “I’ve been in both, and in the fashion industry people just allow bodies to be, and I see girls of many different body types on sets and I love it.”

“Whereas in porn there was literally one f***ing body you could have, porn was so strict. I don’t know why in fashion we understand that people like a lot of different kinds of bodies whereas in porn it’s still a certain way.”

The 25-year-old took a unique path to act and has previously opened up about how her time as a porn actress made her feel "comfortable" in front of the cameras for television.

She further added, “I think it is stuck there because I think all the people that run it are just old… It’s just like every other industry, it’s just run by a bunch of stupid old white men.”

Chloe, who traveled to Miami at the age of 18 to seek a career in the adult industry, acknowledged that her expectations and hopes for her life were immediately dashed by the bleak reality of porn.
