Jeffrey Epstein’s ex-girlfriend arrested for forcing minor girls into sex

Ghislaine Maxwell, the former girlfriend of late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, was taken into custody and put behind bars Thursday on charges related to sex crimes, as revealed by the FBI.

A spokesperson for the Southern District of New York, that is investigating whether Epstein had any accomplices, stated she were charged “for her role within the sexual exploitation and abuse of multiple minor womenthrough Jeffrey Epstein.”

Epstein, 66, hanged himself in a New York cell in August last year while waiting for trial on the offence of trafficking minors for sex. He had pleaded not guilty.

Several of his accusers have stated that the 58-year-old Maxwell maintained a community of girls to carry out sexual favors for Epstein, a registered sex culprit who mingled with the rich and famous.

Maxwell was missing since Epstein’s arrest in July 2019, sparking a tabloid frenzy to attempt to track her down and rumours of whete she may be spread wide.

The English socialite is a long-time friend of Prince Andrew and is known to have introduced the British royal to Epstein, with the two turning into friends.

Andrew, 60, categorically denies any claims of having a sexual encounter with a 17-year-old girl procured by  Epstein.

Virginia Giuffre, who alleges she was turned into trafficking to have sex with the friends of Epstein, says she had sex with the prince at Maxwell’s central London home of in 2001.

Epstein was charged with one account of sex trafficking of minors and another of being involved in luring kids to have intercourse with them.

ALthough he had initially denied the charges, he was facing upto 45 years of sentence, if found guilty and convicted.

Determined to acquire justice regardless of his death, dozens of girls who say they have been abused by Epstein have sued his estate and spoken against his partner Maxwell.
