Jack Black, Paul Rudd fight deadly situation in ‘Anaconda’ Trailer

Jack Black and Paul Rudd are spotted facing a deadly situation in the Amazon forest in the new Anaconda trailer.

Tom Gormican directed the film, which follows the story of Doug (Black) and Griff (Rudd), two childhood best friends who always dreamt of remaking their all-time favourite movie, the “classic” Anaconda.

Amid a midlife crisis, as the duo head into the Amazon to begin shooting, things get surreal when a giant anaconda appears, and what follows is a comically chaotic movie turned into a deadly risk.

The trailer, released on Wednesday, Sept. 17, shows Rudd saying of the remake, “We’re gonna shoot it indie style, one and done.”

Other stars in the film include Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello. Producers are Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, Kevin Etten, and Tom Gormican. Gormican is also co-writer of the screenplay with Kevin Etten.

Sony will release Anaconda on Christmas Day.
