Nikki Glaser jokes about going to space after Katy Perry

Nikki Glaser has her own take on going to space, after Katy Perry got slammed by netizens and celebrities alike for her Blue Origin mission.

The comedian, who has recently been dubbed one of the most influential people of 2025 in the TIME100 list, answered some questions regarding the achievement to E! News.

At one point in the interview, Glaser interrupted the interviewer who had said “…where do you go from here…” to add “Space!” in true comedian fashion.

The 40-year-old quickly followed up her own remark with, “Just kidding, no, no, I do not want to go to space, not only because of the backlash I will face, but I just have no interest in going to space.”

Although Glaser does not want to follow in Perry’s footsteps with her own trip to space, she noted that she does want to "write more music."

The Not Safe with Nikki Glaser host also listed street photography as one of her more recent interests that she wants to invest her time into.

She also expressed her disbelief over being mentioned in the magazine’s annual issue, saying that she wondered who they paid to make it happen.
