James Handy, who is known for his role in Top Gun: Maverick alongside Tom Cruise, faced a tragic death after being stabbed in the chest.
On June 3, the Hollywood star was found unconscious with “a stab wound in his chest” at his residence’s front yard which is located in Los Angeles.
However, a bizarre detail was revealed by the LA Police Department on June 4 about an dispatch audio of a person claiming he murdered the star.
The suspect stated in the audio: “I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin,” leading to authorities discovering James in laying unconscious in his home.
The chilling confession was followed by a suspect who was immediately arrested.
According to reports, Gledhill was taken in to custody and slammed with charge of one count of murder. His bail is reported to be set at $2 million.
The departed soul has been part of several projects during his career which include: Jumanji, Arachnophobia, Unbreakable, Logan, NYPD Blue, Alias, Criminal Minds and others.
Top Gun movie (2023) became his final appearance onscreen before his unprecedented death in June, leaving fans saddened.
Although the suspect has been taken in to custody, the authorities are yet to confirm the culprit amid ongoing investigation.
