Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe’s heartwarming reunion for their son

Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe had heartwarming reunion to celebrate their 22-year-old son’s college graduation.

In pictures shared by PEOPLE, the Legally Blonde actress and her former husband could be seen supporting their son, Deacon, during his graduation ceremony from New York University on May 15.

Interestingly, the former couple was all smiles as they posed with her son on his special day.

Reese, who shares a son and a daughter with ex Ryan, also gave a peek into ceremony by posting a slew of pictures on her Instagram.

Captioning the post, The Morning Show star wrote, “After 4years of hard work, long days, endless papers &classes, working with the greatest teachers and making new friends... my wonderful son graduated from @nyutisch! I'm so proud of you @deaconphillippe.”

Earlier in December 2020, Deacon also revealed his passion for producing music just like his father while speaking with Interview magazine.

“When I was listening to the radio in the car with my dad, something just clicked. I realised there's more to making music than just being a vocalist, and that a lot of times it's the production that makes me feel something,” said Reese’s son.

Deacon added, “I asked my dad about how it works, and he taught me all the stuff he knew, and then I started watching YouTube videos.”
