Todd Bridges moves forward with divorce from Bettijo B. Hirsch

Todd Bridges has officially started legal proceedings after announcing his split from wife Bettijo B. Hirschi.

The pair, who got married in 2022 after meeting via a dating app, made news of their separation public in January.

As per Us Weekly, the 60-year-old filed a Petition for Dissolution of Marriage Without Minor Children in a Maricopa County, Arizona on March 31st.

The Diff’rent Strokes alum cited that the reason as their “marriage is broken beyond repair” after trying to “resolve [their] problems.”

Todd and Bettijo also noted in the filings that they had not been living together, and that they do not have any community properties nor did either party request spousal support.

The ex-couple has also signed a “written agreement” detailing the division of their property, spousal maintenance and other things.

Todd had previously issued a statement announcing the separation, saying that the duo is thankful for their time together and the lessons they have learnt.

He had further requested privacy as they navigated the transition of going from being together to apart.

Notably, Everybody Hates Chris actor and Bettijo both had children from previous marriages, and it can be perceived from the statement that they were living as a blended family.
