‘Bob’s Burgers’ star Eugene Mirman suffers ‘serious injuries’ in accident

Eugene Mirman has made headlines after being identified as the man involved in a scary car crash earlier this week.

The New Hampshire State Police responded to “single-vehicle crash” into a toll plaza and the man in the car was the Bob’s Burgers voice actor.

As per a press release by the authorities, “While units were responding, a veteran State Trooper assigned to Governor Kelly Ayotte’s security detail came upon the crash, saw that the vehicle was actively on fire, and observed the driver was still inside.”

“The driver was then pulled from the burning car through a window and brought to safety. Governor Ayotte, along with other witnesses at the scene, provided assistance to the Trooper,” the statement continued.

They revealed that Eugene sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital, and although no charges have been pressed, the incident is still under investigation.

A spokesperson for the comedian also issued a statement, noting that the accident was a very scary one and that the 51-year-old wanted to thank all those who helped him, from bystanders to the first responders and requested privacy as he focused on recovery.
