Cinderella stepsisters are getting their own spinoff movie.

The beloved fairy-tale follows story of an orphan young girl living under oppression and torment of her Stepmother and two Stepsisters, until she attends a royal ball and meets a prince with the help of a fairy godmother.

The spinoff is reported by multiple outlets including The Hollywood Reporter, revealing that Disney is developing a live-action movie that will follow Cinderella's stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella, directed by Akiva Schaffer.

Screenwriters Dan Gregor and Doug Man will write the screenplay, based on an original script by Michael Montemayor, as those outlets reported.

Sophie McShera and Holliday Grainger portrayed Drisella and Anastasia, respectively, in Disney's 2015 live-action remake of Cinderella, which starred Lily James in the lead role, Cate Blanchett as Cinderella's stepmother and Richard Madden as the prince.

No casting announcements have been made regarding the stars of the movie.

Stepsisters is the latest project in the upcoming live-action Disney movies that reimagine its classic animated films.

The studio recently cast Teagan Croft and Milo Manheim in lead roles for its live-action adaptation of 2010's Tangled.

Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson is bringing a live-action version of 2016's animated hit Moana to theatres July 10.
