Britney Spears is back in the headlines, and this time it’s a shocking mix of alleged hacking drama and legal trouble.
The 44-year-old pop princess has accused her former bodyguard, Thomas Bunbury, of secretly breaking into her iCloud account.
According to reports, Britney’s legal team has fired off a stern cease-and-desist letter, claiming he accessed her private devices without permission.
Insiders say the Toxic singer is furious, alleging she was mysteriously locked out of her accounts multiple times.
The letter reportedly demands Bunbury delete any files he may have copied and reveal whether he shared personal photos or messages.
The drama doesn’t stop there as sources claim Bunbury had already been sacked last summer for allegedly breaching a non-disclosure agreement after speaking to media and fans, before the supposed hacking even took place.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Britney is now facing fresh legal woes.
She is due in court on May 4 following a DUI arrest earlier this month in Ventura, California.
Reports suggest the star was “all over the road” during a tense police pursuit that lasted nearly an hour before she was taken into custody.
Officers allegedly found the singer “disoriented”, fuelling concern among fans already worried about her wellbeing after years under a strict conservatorship, which ended in 2021.
Meanwhile, her ex-husband Sam Asghari has stepped in, urging the public to show compassion.
“Everyone deserves privacy,” he said, calling on the media to give Britney the space she needs.
