Ryan Gosling reveals Harrison Ford is basically superhuman, and he’s not kidding
The 45-year-old actor has opened up about working with the 83-year-old legend and, unsurprisingly, Ford is as insane as we’ve always imagined.
Speaking on the New Heights podcast, Gosling shared jaw-dropping tales from their time on Blade Runner 2049.
“He’s as cool as you want him to be… but he’s not like us,” he said.
Case in point, the Indiana Jones actor once punched him in a scene, then snatched the ice off his face and shoved his fist into it, jokingly declaring, “I forgive you.”
And it gets wilder as the Barbie star revealed Ford once “housed half a bottle of Advil” in a stunt that left the actor speechless.
“He could just do that as a joke. He doesn’t care,” Gosling laughed.
The Fugitive star’s legendary dedication extends beyond on-set antics.
La La Land actor recalled a moment from Raiders of the Lost Ark, where Ford stapled a riding hat to his head mid-horse ride because tape kept failing.
“He’s just… the real deal,” he added.
“That line with Princess Leia, ‘I love you’ – and he goes, ‘I know’ – that’s him. Always was.”
Apart from this, he also shared a heartwarming encounter with another icon, Sylvester Stallone, at a Hollywood party.
“I went through the kitchen and saw Stallone hiding there. He gave me such good advice, just like you hope your heroes would,” he said.
