Ryan Gosling has recently shared major update about his Ghost Rider casting in his latest interview.
The Oscar-nominated actor, who previously revealed his interest in playing the role of an antihero, responded to the rumours about meeting with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast.
“Some discussions have been had,” replied Ryan, adding, “It's a complicated situation.”
This isn’t the first time that the Barbie star expressed his desire to play the role of a Ghost Rider.
Earlier in 2024, Ryan shared his hopes to portray Ghost Rider while speaking with Horowitz.
The Notebook actor remarked, “I don’t know. I would love to… It would be amazing. Come in [and] be Ghost Rider.”
At the time, Ryan opened up that he didn’t have any conversations with Kevin.
However, Horowitz mentioned that his partner Eva Mendes starred opposite Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider movie.
“I'm just happy one of us got to do it,” stated the Project Hail Mary actor.
Meanwhile, Nicolas played Blaze in the 2007’s Ghost Rider movie, a motorcycle stuntman who sold his soul and must hunt demons who've escaped from Hell.
Then in 2011, the actor reprised his role in the sequel, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
