Kevin Spacey’s upcoming trial regarding lawsuits with men claiming that the actor assaulted them has taken an unexpected turn.
The 66-year-old was set to show up for the civil case in London over the allegations later this year but it appears that it might not happen anymore.
As per reports, the disgraced Academy Award winner has reached a settlement with the three alleged victims, but the terms of the settlement have not yet been disclosed.
The case was put on hold by a U.K. judge last week, as he said “By consent, it is ordered that all further proceedings against the defendant in these actions be stayed upon the terms set out in this order and in the confidential schedule,” according to the Associated Press.
Kevin had been accused of assault in the span of years between 2003 and 2013 by the three men, which the defendant had denied.
The House of Cards actor has faced multiple allegations over the years, with the first one being made public on 2017 by Anthony Rapp, with other alleged victims following.
Notably, the Baby Driver actor had been of nine sexual offence charges at a criminal trial in 2023 but was cleared and has not had a conviction as of yet.
