Pop star Jordin Sparks has set the record straight as she did get her winner’s car after triumphing on American Idol, even as fellow champ Kelly Clarkson claims she’s still waiting decades later.

The 36-year-old singer shot to fame as the show’s youngest-ever winner at just 17.

And amid the growing chatter sparked by Kelly’s shock confession, she has now weighed in, confirming she drove away with the promised prize.

Speaking on daytime TV, the Tattoo’ hitmaker said plainly: “I got my car,” while acknowledging the chaos of the show’s early days.

“The first season of anything is a little crazy,” she added, hinting at why Kelly may have missed out.

But Jordin didn’t stop there as she showed support for her fellow Idol alum, she urged: “Somebody send her one now. Someone send her a Ford.”

Kelly recently stunned fans on The Kelly Clarkson Show when she revealed she never received the flashy reward, despite desperately needing it at the time.

Instead, the 43-year-old singer claimed the much-hyped million-dollar prize was more of an “investment” than actual cash.

Even more eyebrow-raising was that according to Kelly, season two runner-up Clay Aiken walked away with not one, but two cars, one for him and one for his mum.

Meanwhile, country queen Carrie Underwood has had a very different experience.

The season four winner revealed she still owns her iconic blue Ford Mustang convertible more than two decades later.
