Zendaya reportedly played a role in Robert Pattinson landing his part in Dune: Part Three alongside Timothée Chalamet.
During the March 16 trailer reveal in Los Angeles, the actor hinted at the Emmy winner's support in helping him secure the role.
“I absolutely adored these movies,” he said about 2021’s Dune and 2024’s Dune: Part Two, “I saw them multiple times in the theaters.”
While shooting their other film, The Drama, the Remember Me star reminisced asking the Euphoria actress, “‘Can I get in one of those Dune movies?’”
The Spider-Man: No Way Home actress teased him instantly, “I know a guy.”
The Twilight alum revealed, “It was a very unexpected call a few months later.” Speaking to the Golden Globe–winning actress, he added, “I kind of did think you [had] something to do with it!”
For the unversed, in Dune: Part Three, Timothée returns as Paul Atreides, Zendaya plays Chani.
Joining the returning cast, Robert will appear with Rebecca Ferguson, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Josh Brolin, and Javier Bardem.
Director Denis Villeneuve co-wrote the screenplay with Brian K. Vaughan, adapting Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah.
Along with the upcoming sci-fi release, the Dune: Part Three, which will hits theaters on December 18, Robert Pattinson and Zendaya also co-star in The Drama (April 3) and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey (July 17).
