Jessie Buckley has become the first Irish female actress to win an Oscar in best Actress category for Hamnet.
But that's not all, The Bride! star was celebrating a personal milestone regarding her eight-month old daughter.
In her conversation with the press backstage, Buckley revealed, "My daughter got her first tooth this week, lying on my chest snuggling me."
Calling it "some kind of crazy alchemy," she was in awe of how things collided on a special day of her life.
The actress also noted that it was Mother's Day in the UK, when she said, "What a gift. To receive this recognition of the incredible role mothers are playing in our world on this day is something I will never, ever forget."
She also mentioned her baby during the award acceptance speech, where she said that while her little girl, Isla has no idea what is going on, winning the award was a big deal.
Buckley added, "I love you and I love being your mom and I can't wait to discover life beside you."
Hamnet, originally a novel, is written by Maggie O'Farrell and directed by Chloe Zhao.
It follows young Shakespeare (Paul Mescal) and Agnes grappling with the tragic loss of their 11-year-old son.
The production also star Joe Alwyn, Emily Watson, Jacobi Jupe and Olivia Lynes.
